THE TREATMENT:
The non-invasive, in-office procedure can be used to treat large areas (i.e. the full face) or used as a spot treatment (i.e. isolated surgical scars).
Three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, are recommended for maximum results. Some may notice mild redness, swelling or a slight sun burn-like sensation that resolves within 2 to 24 hours after treatment.
THE RESULTS:
Icon Clear visibly improves skin damage in areas including the face, neck, cleavage and body. Results are noticeable after one treatment and improve with each subsequent session.
ICON CLEAR vs. ABLATIVE LASERS
Icon Clear is designed to ultimately deliver the same results as a high impact, ablative resurfacing laser. Though ablative lasers (like Active Fx) only require one treatment, they often have significant downtime of at least 5 days. Icon Clear requires more treatment sessions, but each has minimal downtime.
