HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM MICRONEEDLING?
Both Ellacor and microneedling use needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin. Ellacor's needles are hollow, though, and actually remove micro-cores of skin. After the skin is removed, the skin quickly contracts to close the needle holes, tightening the skin and remodeling it in the process.
THE TREATMENT:
Ellacor is a non-surgical procedure performed in-office. The amount of skin removed and depth of treatment are customized based on each individual's skin quality and thickness.
A series of 1-3 sessions are recommended for optimal outcome, though a personalized treatment plan will be determined on an individual basis.
THE RESULTS:
Ellacor is not a fat reduction treatment. It effectively treats the mid to lower face, including the cheeks, around the mouth, and under the chin. Ideal candidates are those with wrinkles, fine lines, sagging, laxity, or sun-damage.
